OUR MISSION

Learning that your child has been diagnosed with cancer is unthinkable, yet it happens to families every day. The Frances Pope Memorial Foundation is a group of caring friends who have joined together to offer financial and emotional support to families so they can focus on what’s most important: their child’s recovery.

A cancer diagnosis effects the whole family; both emotionally and financially. We understand that additional costs associated with a diagnosis are not budgeted for and often are not covered by insurance. We strive to take care of expenses that are not covered by medical insurance.

We help families of children with pediatric cancer or a catastrophic illness, through social work referral, who are being treated in any hospital in the New York Metropolitan Area.
