We are officially one month away from our Annual Friendship Ball, where we raise important funds under the convincing guise of friendship, food, and fun!

Here are 6 ways you can get involved:

1.  Be a Patron

Our Ball wouldn't be possible without our dedicated patrons, and there's still time to join their ranks! Help support the Friendship Ball, our primary source of revenue, by becoming a dinner, cocktail, or casino patron and help us host an incredible fundraising event!

2.  Sponsor...

We kicked-off GivingTuesday a day early with our wonderful supporters. Hosted at Whitman and Bloom, our kick-off party for our 2017 Friendship Ball was a great success. In attendance were our Men of the Year, Andrew Breslin and Ray Baccala. We would like to thank everyone who made our night a fun filled one! We look forward to seeing you all again when we celebrate our 35th Annual Friendship Ball on Friday 24th February 2017 at the Pierre.

Born in Co. Cavan, Ireland but raised in Kells, Co. Meath, Andy is the youngest of Eileen and Michael Breslin’s six children -- five boys and one girl! After moving to America on his 20th birthday, he landed his first job bar-tending in Tramps. His brothers, Michael and John, and sister, Maureen, soon joined him in the States.

In 1986, he opened his first bar, Allison’s, on 8th Avenue beside FIT, with Alphie McCourt, brother of the Frank & Malachy. Si...

We were so happy to spend this past Friday, February 26th at the Pierre Hotel with our wonderful Circle of Friends. It's an absolute pleasure to see everyone come together every year to help us raise funds so we can continue our mission of supporting families as they deal with the struggle of a sick child.

It was a pleasure to have the chance to honor Joseph P. Coppotelli and the late Joseph J. Coffey as our 2016 Men of the Year. The work these two men have done for our foundation...

We were so happy that some of our loyal donors were able to gather together to officially launch our 2016 Friendship Ball planning.

Once again, the staff at Bobby Van's did an excellent job, thank you!

Here are some photos from the wonderful holiday event.

The late Joseph J. Coffey (left)

Joseph Coffey, legendary New York City detective, best selling author, and loving husband, father and grandfather, was taken from us just days after he warmly and proudly accepted our invitation to be our 2016 Honoree along with his dear friend, Joe Coppotelli. Joe was born and raised in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan and wanted to be a New York City cop since the age of 10. He was known as a “tough as nails,” no-nonsense Irish cop and was one of the greates...

"Good evening. My name is Sean McCormack, and I am a cancer survivor."

Throughout the years, the Frances Pope Memorial Foundation Friendship Ball audiences have been brought to tears by stories of heartache, courage, and triumph. This year, we were blessed to hear one of our kids, Sean McCormack, speak to our Circle of Friends about his battle with cancer.

We are so happy that Sean is feeling better! His resilience is inspiring!

See Sean's speech...

Also, see Sean's touching reading of his poem, "On...
